A source for short video tapes...
Q: Roy Starkey asks:
Does anyone know of a good source for short (5 minute) VHS tapes for making demo reels? Last I checked (a couple of years ago) American Video Tape Warehouse seemed to have good prices but I don't know anything about their quality.

I have been with American Video Tape for 9+ years now.. great company. Good product. When there is a problem (2 or 3 problems in 9 years and 150,000 tapes) they make it right.
Give Steve Barnes a call at (800) 598.8273.

A-VIDD out of Long Beach (California) is a great company. 95¢ 15 min SONY VHS, 25¢ sleeves choice of style and color. http://www.a-vidd.com. I had my tapes second day.

I suggest ACT! in Columbia, MO, which is an organization that employs persons with disabilities to recycle videotape. They have great prices, you can often get tab-in T-10's, and you'll be helping a lot of people out at the same time. Their number is (800) 359-4607.
