| 3D ARK VOLUNTEER JOB OPS |

We are _always_ looking for volunteers to help develop and add content to the site. This page is devoted to specific 3D ARK related job opportunities along with descriptions of what's currently needed. Unless noted, these are non-paying volunteer positions. While age and experience are a consideration for these positions, so is enthusiasm. CONTENT DEVELOPERS We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible people to help create content for 3D ARK. People may specialize in one of more of the following roles:  Columnist :Responsibilities include writing a time-based column (weekly, monthly...) dealing with 3D and computer graphics related issues. Article Writer :Responsibilities include writing articles dealing with anything related to 3D and the computer graphics industry. Tutorial Author :We are always looking for people to help provide both general and software specific tutorials covering basic to advanced techniques. Hardware/Software Reviewer :This individual writes reviews of hardware and software. Researcher :The role of the researcher involves searching for and compiling any and all relevant information related to the 3D computer graphics and the industry. CONTENT EDITORS HTML Assistant Level I :Responsibilities include converting standard text into HTML, often applying this information to a preformatted template. Other related responsibilities as necessary. HTML Assistant Level II :This individual helps write advanced and dynamic HTML for 3D ARK. This also includes plug-in driven content. ART DEPT Graphics Artist :The role of this individual is to help provide hot looking icons, logos, titles, banners, GIF animations, and other related graphics. Graphics Artists may work independently or in conjunction with content developers, creating requested graphics for articles, tutorials, and other content. Designer :We are always looking for people to help improve upon the current design of 3D ARK (and related) web sites. This includes enhancing the arrangement of text, icons, graphics, and improving navigation and organization. This role also includes logo, banner, and icon design. OTHER CGI Coder :3D ARK is always in need of talented coders to help customize, write, and install PERL CGI scripts. Public Relations :Individuals must be committed, responsible, and have excellent interpersonal communication skills. Contact zero@3dark.com for details.
