 3D ARK Mailing List :A mailing list geared towards both novice and advanced 3D enthusiasts. All aspects of 3D, animation, the industry, and a wide range of 3D related software programs are discussed. If you're a general 3D enthusiast, this is a list you'll want to be on. 3D-ACE Mailing List :3D-ACE is a mailing list for the discussion of advanced 3D techniques and related issues. 3D-ACE has received attention from advanced 3D artists from all over world, including people from : ILM, PDI, Pixar, Digital Domain, Disney, DreamWorks, Rhythm & Hues, Blizzard Entertainment, and more. Originally established in July 1998, 3D-ACE was a network and discussion list for 3D professionals only. In September 1999, 3D-ACE was reorganized to accommodate a general 3D audience. Unlike other lists, 3D-ACE wasn't founded to constrain topics to a area of 3D (ie. "character animation", software specific discussions, etc). 3D-ACE allows for a wide range of intermediate to advanced 3D related discussions and encourages users of any 3D software to participate. As of September, 12, 1999, this list had over 260 subscribers.  3D Analysis List (AM3D) :AM3D is popular and highly regarded interactive discussion list for in-depth 3D art and animation analysis. AM3D consists of over 450 highly creative people and some of the hottest computer graphics artists pushing the envelope of 3D technology. AM3D has earned an excellent reputation among its subscribers by helping to raise the standard of excellence in 3D artists of all skill levels. This list allows you to take an active role by exposing your work for analysis or offering constructive criticism concerning other people's work. Or, if you don't feel your skills are up to par or have nothing to offer, you can simply sit back, read, and just learn. AM3D is frequented by artists of all skill levels, from hobbyists to professionals (from animation studios to computer gaming companies), from novices to the elite. AM3D not only exposes you to private showings of great works-in-progress, it also gives you the opportunity to shape the future of these works by offering feedback to the artists.
